In the span of eight days, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns in a 49-0 win over rival Oklahoma in the Red River Showdown in his return from injury and he also announced three NIL deals. Ewers announced his latest partnership with Sonic Drive-In on Monday. Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who caught one of Ewers’ four touchdown passes, also partnered with the fast food chain.

“I don’t know what it is but that SONIC ice just gets me,” Ewers tweeted. “Drop in the comments what we should order next when we go back?”

Ewers’ tweet featured of video of he and Worthy going to Sonic. “Best day ever, dog,” Ewers says after dapping up Worthy as they leave the restaurant.

“I used to order bags of it,” Ewers says in the video of the Sonic ice.

Later, he says, “Tots so good, they deserve a touchdown,” before he throws a tot to Worthy.

Quinn Ewers’ On3 NIL Valuation

With an On3 NIL Valuation of $1 million, Quinn Ewers’ projected market value ranks No. 10 among college football players and No. 17 in the On3 NIL 100. Worthy’s On3 NIL Valuation of $834,000 ranks No. 20 among college football players and No. 33 in the On3 NIL 100.

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard NIL market value for high school and college athletes. The On3 NIL Valuation uses a proprietary algorithm that calculates an athlete’s projected NIL value using dynamic data points targeting an athlete’s performance, influence and exposure.

While the On3 NIL Valuation’s algorithm includes NIL deal data, it doesn’t act as a tracker of the value of the NIL deals that an athlete has completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for the athlete’s entire career. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects for as long as 12 months into the future.

The On3 NIL 100 is the first-of-its-kind, defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their market valuation.

On the Friday night before the Red River Showdown, Ewers announced a partnership with Lucchese Bootmaker. Thanks to the NIL deal, Ewers gifted his offensive linemen Lucchese products.

“Texas Tough since 1883,” Ewers wrote in a tweet. “Only the best for the guys that take care of me.”

Earlier in the week, Ewers announced an NFT partnership with Metabilia. ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Ewers will earn seven-figure compensation from his NIL deal with Metabilia.
