Pete Nakos Assessing Caleb Williams Future Ahead Of Nfl Draft Declaration Deadline | 01.14.24

Former USC star quarterback Caleb Williams has secured his first brand partnership since declaring for the NFL draft.

The potential No. 1 pick in April’s draft has partnered with Trolli, the sour gummy brand that has been a favorite pregame and sideline snack of his since he was playing youth football. As part of the collaboration with the former Heisman Trophy winner, Trolli is releasing an exclusive, limited-edition “Caleb Williams Mix” pack of Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers.

The pack features Williams’ favorite flavor combination to commemorate the partnership and his announcement to turn pro. The mix includes sour cherry-lemon sour crawlers to pay homage to Williams’ collegiate team colors of cardinal and gold with the Trojans. They also feature an image of Williams on the bag.

“I’ve been a fan of Trolli’s Sour Brite Crawlers ever since youth football, and fans have even caught me sneaking them in on the sidelines during games throughout my college career,” Williams said in a statement. “My friends and teammates have always joked about how much I love them. So, having my own personal ‘mix’ with this partnership with Trolli is truly a dream come true. I’m super excited to share these special packs with everyone!”

Sweepstakes for Caleb Williams swag

The packs are available exclusively through an online sweepstakes now through Feb. 18 for fans who visit  trolli.com/Caleb-Williams. In addition to the collectible packs, five grand prize winners will have the chance to win exclusive autographed merchandise and other special prizes.

The partnership marks Trolli’s first-time collaboration with a projected top NFL draft pick. But the brand defined by neon colors, bold flavors and soft, chewy texture also earned plenty of social media notoriety this football season when a video of a Rice University strength and conditioning intern handing out the gummy worms to players on the sideline went viral.

Now, the brand has ensured that the next chapter in gummy worm lore includes the face of the potential No. 1 NFL Draft pick on a limited-edition mix of Williams’ favorite flavor combinations.
