'Redemption': Wonder Project releases trailer for Ohio State docuseries

The Ohio State Buckeyes football team is featured in a new docuseries called Redemption, and the official trailer has been released. Redemption focuses on Ohio State’s 2024 season, culminating in a national championship. The limited docuseries will premiere on Sunday, Nov. 16, with all three episodes on the Wonder Project subscription on Prime Video.

Ohio State players Gee Scott Jr., TreVeyon Henderson, Emeka Egbuka, and Will Howard are featured in the series that captures the season through their eyes. There is also commentary from former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, ESPN’s College Football GameDay host Rece Davis, and college football legend Tim Tebow, who is an executive producer on the series.

“Redemption isn’t just about football—it’s about faith, perseverance, and the power of purpose,” Tebow said in a press release. “What these young men have lived through and how they’ve chosen to respond is bigger than the game. It’s a story of what happens when you give everything you have, and then give it to God.”

“In August 2024, before the season kicked off, we saw how the faith of this team was impacting people in Columbus and beyond,” series executive producers Marlee and Matthew Benson said. “We didn’t know how the year would unfold—on or off the field—but we knew God had given us the vision to start capturing it. What followed was a story only He could write. Redemption became far more than a football story; it became a living testament to how faith transforms every story. We’re grateful to have witnessed God’s hand at work in the hearts of these players and this community.”

Redemption is directed by D.C. Joseph and produced by Kingdom Films and Serif Creative in association with Wonder Project. The series is part of the upcoming slate of new Wonder Project Originals premiering on the new Wonder Project subscription on Prime Video.

Ohio State finished the 2024 season with a 14-2 record and its ninth national championship in school history. The Buckeyes were the first team to win the 12-team College Football Playoff and the first team since the 2007 LSU Tigers to win a national title with two losses.
