Super Bowl LIX concessions prices revealed

Fans had mixed emotions after The Boston Globe‘s Ben Volin posted a picture of the concession stand prices at Super Bowl LIX. While some fans claimed the high prices were what they’d expect for the Super Bowl, others called the costs ridiculous.
Water bottles are listed at $7, American draft beer at $14, and fans can pair the tasty beverages with $10 nachos. Whether fans agree or not with the concession prices, they certainly shouldn’t be surprised.
Last week, the “get-in price” for a ticket to Super Bowl LIX on Vivid Seats stood at $3,346. Even wilder, Super Bowl LIX has the lowest median ticket price since 2020.
Alas, as the game has grown closer, prices have continued to drop with some tickets selling for as low as $2,000. Of course, the average fan still can’t afford such an exorbitant cost.
President Donald Trump reveals his Super Bowl pick
Of course, not every fan in attendance has to worry about the concession stand prices. On Sunday, President Donald Trump will become the first sitting president of the United States to attend the Super Bowl. Ahead of the game, the 47th president revealed which team he believes will win.
“I hate to do it. I just say that I’ve watched this great quarterback (Patrick Mahomes) who has, by the way, a phenomenal wife,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier. “She’s a Trump fan. She’s a MAGA fan, so I happen to love her, OK? But she’s a great person.
“I watched her being interviewed. I said, ‘Boy, that’s pretty good.’ But she’s great, and he’s great. I guess you have to say that when a quarterback wins as much as he’s won, I have to go with Kansas City. I have to go with Kansas City. At the same time, Philadelphia has a fantastic [team]. It’s gonna be just a great game.”

Trump isn’t the only one who’s expecting an entertaining matchup. According to FanDuel, the Chiefs are 1.5-point favorites against the Eagles. In fairness, the Chiefs are used to this, entering the game with back-to-back Super Bowl victories under their belts.
President Donald Trump also showed his love for Mahomes and the Chiefs on social media after their win in the AFC Championship against the Buffalo Bills.
“Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs,” Trump said on his social media platform. “What a GREAT Team, Coach, Quarterback, and virtually everything else, including those fantastic FANS, that voted for me (MAGA!) in record numbers. Likewise, congratulations to the Buffalo Bills on a tremendous season. They will do a lot of winning long into the future!!!”
The Chiefs and Eagles will clash at 6:30 p.m. ET in the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The game will air live on FOX.
