Personal Life

Brant Kuithe was an On3 Consensus three-star recruit coming out Katy (Texas) Cinco Ranch High School in the 2018 recruiting class. He originally picked Utah over offers from Colorado, Boise State, Iowa State, Tulane and others. Entering the 2022 season, Kuithe was a three-time All-Pac-12 tight end selection. He earned second-team all-league honors in 2019, 2020 and 2020. In 2019 and 2020, Kuithe led the Utes in receptions. He turned a lot of heads in 2021 when he had six catches for 77 yards against No. 6 Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. In 2022, he became the first Ute since Darren Carrington in 2017 to record 100-plus receiving yards in the season opener. Kuithe is the son of Dennis and Debbie Kuithe. His father played football at North Texas. He has a twin brother, former Ute defensive end Blake, and a sister. His last name is pronounced Keeth-ee.
