Cyrus Moss Scouting Summary
Charles Power
10/28/21

Tall, angular pass rusher who plays for one of the nation’s top high school programs. Primarily lines up as a stand-up pass rusher for Bishop Gorman. Is a fluid, smooth athlete. Shows quickness off the snap and can run sideline-to-sideline in pursuit. Coordinated enough to drop into coverage. Also has some bend around the edge and quick hands prior to contact. More of a finesse rusher at this point and needs to increase his strength and physicality to hold up against bigger offensive linemen at the next level. Affects plays at the high school level but could stand to improve his finishing ability behind the line of scrimmage.

Personal Life

Cyrus Moss moved up to the varsity level as a freshman for Las Vegas Bishop Gorman – one of the top-talent producing high school programs in the country – and never looked back. He landed his first scholarship offer following his freshman season. Moss started at free safety in his high school career, but eventually moved outside linebacker and then to the EDGE in the Gaels’ defense. It was that versatility that helped him become a household name to college coaches. “I plan to come full speed on every single play,” he said. “And I have a lot of physicality.” Moss plans on majoring in sports management or business in college. His mother is Michelle Fischer.
