Jalyn Crawford said he is pleased with how much success he’s had on the high school level at Lilburn (Georgia) Parkview, but he’s working hard at further refining his craft for college and beyond. “I’ve been working hard at off-man (coverage),” Crawford told 11 Alive. “In the (NFL) and in college, they do more off-man coverage. Some teams do press, but it’s more off-man systems. That’s why it’s something I’ve been really working on and trying to get better at.” While at Parkview, Carter earned a reputation as a press coverage corner that can lock anybody down. “I love to compete,” he said. “That’s what I love best about playing cornerback. When the ball is in the air, it’s mine.” Away from football, Carter enjoys lifting weights. His favorite musician is Lil Baby, and his favorite snack are Flamin’ Hot Doritos. Carter has a 3.4 GPA, and he plans on majoring in architecture. His father is Jason Crawford.
