Jhadyn Nelson bears some striking similarities to Arvell Reese at the same stage in their careers. Like Reese, Nelson emerged as a national recruit following his junior season of varsity football. Both are nearly identical in size (around 6-foot-3, 220 pounds with 32.5-inch arms entering their senior years. Like Reese, Nelson also tests like a top athlete, posting some of the best combine numbers we saw on the Rivals Camp Series. Both are versatile jumbo linebackers who can also rush the passer. They also both have late birthdays for their respective recruiting cycles. Reese continued growing, adding at least an inch in height while in college.
