Julian Sayin saw what it took to be an elite quarterback early on in his life. He just had to look across the kitchen table to see what his older brother, Aidan Sayin, was doing. His older brother went on to become the starting quarterback at Penn, and Julian used that as the foundation for his own future as an elite quarterback. “I’ve worked hard to get here,” Sayin said. “My coaches have worked hard to prepare me for this moment. My family has prepared me. I’ve been around the game for a long time from being around my brother. He got me prepared for all of this.” In 2021, Sayin completed 181 of 253 passes for 2,769 yards, 34 touchdowns and five interceptions. In 2022, he threw for 2,708 yards and 27 scores. He also threw for more than 200 yards in all but two games as a junior.
