Malakai Belz

I’m a physical, high-motor defensive player who takes pride in disrupting offenses, finishing plays, and competing against top competition. I grew up on Kauaʻi, where big waves and years on the jiu-jitsu mat taught me to stay calm under pressure, respect power, and never back down from a challenge. As a freshman, I recorded 12 sacks, 24 tackles for loss, 50+ tackles, and 3 turnovers while earning Defensive Player of the Year for my class. Now, as a sophomore varsity starter at Lakeridge High School, I compete in one of Oregon’s toughest leagues and focus on continuing to develop my strength, technique, and versatility.
