It was a longer journey than many would have expected for Mitchell Tinsley to get from Lee's Summit (Mo.) High to Penn State. He spent two seasons at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas before heading to Western Kentucky. He joined the WKU offensive juggernaut and was a key contributor for two seasons, finishing as All-Conference USA second team in 2021. He is the son of Veronica Bruce and Michael Tinsley. He has two siblings named Malik and Maya. Tinsley’s hobbies include watching movies, playing video games and art.
