2026 ATH Daniel Vollmer commits to Vanderbilt Commodores

Cincinnati St. Xavier athlete Daniel Vollmer has committed to Vanderbilt.
He is the second prospect to join Vandy’s 2026 recruiting class, alongside San Francisco Archbishop Riordan three-star quarterback Michael Mitchell Jr.
Vollmer had offers from Duke, Cincinnati, Indiana and more.
With the 2025 recruiting cycle officially coming to a close on Wednesday, the Commodores will finish with a pair of four-star prospects heading to Nashville.

Chattanooga (Tenn.) McCallie safety Carson Lawrence is the nation’s No. 273 overall prospect and No. 20 safety in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Memphis (Tenn.) Bartlett linebacker Austin Howard is also a top-350 recruit.
Vandy has signed 13 prospects in its 2025 recruiting class and currently ranks No. 69 nationally and last in the SEC.
