2026 WR Xavier Stinson decommits from UCLA Bruins

Port Saint Lucie (Fla.) Vero Beach three-star receiver Xavier Stinson has decommitted from UCLA, he announced Monday.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder had been pledged to the Bruins since June, when he chose them over NC State, Michigan State and more than a dozen other Power 4 offers. With the firing of head coach DeShaun Foster and the upcoming staff turnover expected, he has fully reopened his recruitment.
He recently visited UCF and will be among the most coveted uncommitted receivers in the country going forward. The Knights, because of their proximity to home and the excitement around the program, are expected to be a factor going forward.
“Definitely the atmosphere and the energy from both the team and the crowd stood out,” he told UCFSports.com of his recent visit. “I talked to Coach Beckton a few times during the day. UCF would be a great program to be a part of.”

Stinson is the No. 549 overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, an equally weighted average that utilizes all three major recruiting services. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 86 wide receiver and the No. 73 recruit in the Sunshine State.
As a junior last fall, Stinson caught 43 passes for 740 yards (17.2 YPC) and seven touchdowns. Through five games as a senior, he has hauled in 10 receptions for 190 yards and two scores.
UCLA is now down to just 14 commitments in the class following his departure.
