2027 RB Noah Parker commits to Georgia: 'It is like a dream coming true'

For Montezuma (Ga.) Macon County running back Noah Parker, the dream has always been to play in red and black.
After camping at Georgia over the summer and earning an offer from head coach Kirby Smart and running backs coach Josh Crawford, the 2027 running back made it official — he’s committed to his childhood favorite.
“It’s like a dream coming true,” Parker told Rivals. “I’ve always been a big fan of Georgia. To get the opportunity, it felt different. I knew when I got the offer that I was going to Georgia — there was never another thought.”
The 5-foot-10, 198-pound three-star prospect, ranked as the No. 48 running back nationally, chose Georgia over Alabama, Florida State, and Georgia Tech.
“The coaches and the standard make Georgia different. There’s history at Georgia. The standard is set high — you have to work. It’s a top program that develops players. They put a lot of guys in the NFL because of their style, and the coaches know how to win. They’re the best of the best, and that’s what I want.”
Parker has visited Athens close to ten times for camps, games, and visits, building a strong connection with the staff.

“Georgia has been on my mind for a long time. I love Athens and the coaches there. I’ve been there a lot — it’s a great place. The atmosphere is something I want to be a part of. It’s about family and competition. Everyone trusts each other, works together, and plays together. The fans are great, it’s loud, and it’s a great place to play.”
Parker believes in the staff at Georgia
The connection with running backs coach Josh Crawford played a key role in his decision.
“Coach Crawford puts his trust in me, and I put my trust in him,” Parker said. “He’s from South Georgia and has coached a lot of guys from where I’m from. He knows what it takes to play at Georgia. He’s going to coach hard with love, develop you, teach you to be disciplined, and really push his guys hard. Sometimes it’ll be tough, but I know he’ll make me better.”
When Georgia gave him the green light to commit, Parker said the entire staff shared his excitement.
“We talked things over, and Coach Crawford told me Georgia was ready for me. He loves me, and the whole staff was excited when I committed.”
As a lifelong Georgia fan, Parker already has an all-time favorite to look up to.
“Sony Michel was my favorite player,” he said. “Sony wore No. 1, and I hope to wear that. He’s a dog — one of the best to ever come out of Georgia.”
