Five-star wing Baba Oladotun will be reclassifying from the 2027 class into the 2026 class, he told Rivals.

The 6-foot-8 small forward out of James Hubert Blake High in Silver Spring, Maryland is widely regarded as one of the top prospects in the country.

Oladotun is currently ranked No. 6 overall in the 2027 class by Rivals but his ranking will be re-evaluated following his move to 2026. Other recruiting outlets have him as the No. 1 prospect in the 2027 class.

He holds over 50 offers, including Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, BYU, Michigan, Indiana, Gonzaga, Texas, Auburn, and others.

To this point, Oladotun has taken unofficial visits to UCLA and USC.

“You immediately notice the length and the frame with Baba Oladotun,” says Rivals National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw. “The jump shot is what he does, and it is where his production comes from at this point. He is around 6-foot-8 with long arms. His footwork getting into the jump shot is clean, and Oladotun is confident getting into it off the bounce or the catch. He is a threat as a pull-up jump shooter, getting a high release with good balance. He will need to continue adding weight, and with that, he could become a more consistent rebounder. With his length and natural athleticism, there is an upside there on the defensive end. The tools are obvious, and the upside here is worth monitoring.”
