Katrelle Harmon, a four-star shooting guard in the 2026 class, has committed to Creighton, he told Rivals.
The 6-foot-4 rising senior out of Wasatch Academy (UT) ultimately chose the Bluejays over Iowa, but also received offers from Alabama, Oregon, Rutgers, and Washington.
Harmon, a Seattle native, is the nation’s No. 66 overall prospect, No. 18 shooting guard, and the No. 4 recruit in Utah in the 2026 cycle according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.
Harmon on his commitment to Creighton
Katrelle Harmon went in-depth on his commitment to Creighton with Rivals.
“I chose Creighton because it felt like the perfect combination of basketball and personal fit. The program’s style of play really matches my strengths, and the culture is all about winning the right way. On top of that, the relationships I built with the staff and players made it feel like home from the start.”
What led to his trust in the coaching staff?
“From day one, they were real with me no sugarcoating, just honest conversations about how I could fit into the program and where I need to grow. Coach McDermott and the staff showed they believed in me, not just as a player, but as a person.”

In his own words, what type of player is Creighton getting in Harmon?
“I’d say I’m a versatile guard who can make plays for myself and my teammates. I like to push the pace, attack mismatches, and keep the offense flowing. On defense, I take pride in competing hard every possession and making it tough for whoever I’m guarding.”
He has a message for Creighton fans.
“Get ready for an exciting ride I’m coming in hungry and ready to win. You’ll see energy, passion, and a lot of fun basketball. I can’t wait to put on that Bluejay jersey and give you everything I’ve got.”
Harmon a standout at EYBL
According to On3’s Jamie Shaw, Katrelle Harmon was a standout at EYBL a couple of months ago in Memphis:
Katrelle Harmon continues to add a little to his game each time out. Playing predominantly on ball in this setting, his head stays up and he made a couple explosive plays at the rim. He is consolidating his game, becoming more efficient with the ball in his hands. He still can throw the ball around the court a little as he needs to continue adding more strength and working through his shooting off the bounce, but there is some intriguing production there, and that aspect continues to grow.
