He visited for the win over Michigan State and returned for his official visit Nov. 10. He told head coach Curt Cignetti and the staff he was in on Tuesday night.
“From the get go the decision was clear to me when I took my second visit there,” Novak said. “It was very professional. Everything was about maintaining the standard and keeping the standard and everyone knew their job. It became clear this was the spot for me.
The 6-foot-7, 300-pound Novak ranks as the No. 14 prospect in the Hoosier State. Novak becomes commit No. 24 for the Hoosiers in the 2026 class.

“How bright the future is, with Coach Cignetti being the type of coach he is and the o-line coach Coach Bostad and his development of players and producing offensive linemen it was the best place for me.
“The strength and conditioning coach really wowed me. His stature and the guideline for his players and you can see through the players it showcased all his success. And the overall homey atmopshere.”
