Ohio State flips in-state OL Mason Wilhelm
Ohio State is looking to add another offensive lineman to a 2026 recruiting class that Rivals currently ranks No. 8 nationally.
The Buckeyes would only take a prospect they believe can help them win National Titles for years to come.
On Friday they did just that.
Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward’s standout Mason Wilhelm tells Rivals he has flipped to from North Carolina to Ohio State.

”Development, culture, brotherhood,” Wilhelm said of why he flipped to Ohio State.
Offensive line coach Tyler Bowen has been in touch all season.
”We have built a relationship and when he finally called last night, he let me know that my development and growth throughout the season was what they wanted to see. The opportunity to play Ohio Stadium, and compete in the Big Ten was something that was always in the back of my mind.”
With the flip complete Wilhelm is focused on the task at hand.
“I am dedicated to my team to win every Friday and finish my career at Ed’s with a State Championship.”
