Tennessee flips 4-star LB Jadon Perlotte from USC

Buford (Ga.) linebacker Jadon Perlotte committed to Georgia early before flipping to USC late in July. Before flipping to the Trojans after a visit to Los Angeles, Tennessee was a strong contender and a favorite of the four-star.
In a way, it has come full circle. Perlotte flipped from USC to Tennessee and he will play in the SEC.
“The coaches at Tennessee love me,” Perlotte told On3. “They has always shown a lot of love to me and my family. While I was committed to Georgia, they made me feel like a priority. Tennessee is a school that has always made me feel wanted.”
Perlotte has taken numerous visits to Rocky Top. He has been inside Neyland Stadium for games, he has spent time with the coaches on casual visits and that feeling was always the same.

“The love from Tennessee is real. The coaches there were consistent and the atmosphere was always great. The culture stood out to me at Tennessee. It always felt like home and family.”
William Inge was the lead recruiter and Perlotte always liked his message and how they related to one another. Josh Heupel drew praise from the new Vol as well.
“He loves me,” Perlotte added. “He is the head coach and he is one of the coaches that recruits me the hardest. He loves his players.”
