Philadelphia (Pa.) Neumann Goretti cornerback <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/shawn-battle-106841/">Shawn Battle</a> is down to five schools, he announced on Tuesday night. 



Battle is the No. 460 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2023/">On3 Consensus</a>, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 48 cornerback and the No. 12 junior prospect in Pennsylvania.



Among his top five are: <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/boston-college-eagles/">Boston College</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/cincinnati-bearcats/">Cincinnati</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/nebraska-cornhuskers/">Nebraska</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/penn-state-nittany-lions/">Penn State</a> and <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/virginia-cavaliers/">Virginia</a>. Battle also announced that he will make his commitment on June 4th at 4:00 p.m. ET.
