Vanderbilt flips four-star RB Evan Hampton from Louisville

Owensboro (Ky.) High four-star running back Evan Hampton tells Rivals he has flipped his commitment from Louisville to Vanderbilt.
Besides the Commodores and Cardinals, the 6-foot, 200-pound Hampton also had offers from Michigan, NC State, Penn State and Kentucky.
Vanderbilt head coach Clark Lea and his staff were one of the first programs to prioritze Hampton and now they have him in the fold.
“It felt like home and the right fit for me as a human being,” Hampton said. “I felt the culture consume me and I felt like I ultimately belonged in that program with Coach Lea and the rest of the staff.”
