“Wake was always one of my top choices,” Hogg said. “I did not know where I would fit in after the coach change. They reached back out and I went on an OV this weekend. After meeting the new staff I knew it was going to be a right fit.”
The 6-foot-2, 255-pound Hogg becomes commit No. 25 for Wake Forest in the 2026 cycle.
“The main thing that makes it right for me is the people,” Hogg said. “The team plays unselfish. Everyone on that field was playing for each other. The culture feels like what I am accustomed to at Cartersville High School.”
Hogg says Wake Forest had everything he is looking for.
“I want to attend a university that values both football and education.”
Vanderbilt, NC State and Houston were among the other programs to offer.
