Long, athletic two-way tight end and edge prospect with basketball-honed body control. Lachman has prototypical size to play tight end or edge at the next level, pushing 6-foot-6 and 215 pounds. He has a long, athletic frame with plenty of room to add weight and should be able to add 25 to 30 pounds without losing his athleticism. A two-way player, he missed his junior season with an Achilles injury but is back on the field as a senior and has shown promise. In six games this season, he recorded 13 catches for 153 yards and two touchdowns on offense,…

Film Review Notes
Two-way player with the ability to play as an edge or tight end at the next level. Boasts a long, athletic frame that allows him to be tough to contain as a pass rusher and a huge target at tight end. Shows off a big catch radius and is able use that length to win contested catches and 50-50 balls. Has soft hands and is able to not just catch high throws but can get low and catch it behind him or around his ankles as well. Runs well after the catch and can either make that first defender miss or break a tackle or two in the open field.
