Wisconsin-Iowa Game Time Announced for Another Edition of Heartland Trophy Series

The Wisconsin Badgers will return to action this week with a matchup against the No. 20 Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor. At 2-2, Wisconsin has suffered severe disappointment thus far, but will have the opportunity to save its season with a win against an AP Top 25 opponent.
Looking ahead, the Badgers have an easier matchup in Week 7, as they will take on the Iowa Hawkeyes at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison. The team recently announced the game time for the matchup on October 11, as it will kick off at 6 p.m. CT. It will be broadcast on FS1 for another edition of the Heartland Trophy series.
Wisconsin has lost its last three matchups with Iowa, two of which were on the road in Iowa City. All time, the Badgers are 49-47-2 against the Hawkeyes, dating back to 1894. This season will be an opportunity for Luke Fickell to secure his first victory in the longtime rivalry.
Last season, the team was embarrassed at Kinnick Stadium, losing 42-10. Braedyn Locke went 15-29 with just 137 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. Iowa star Kaleb Johnson ran all over the Badgers, going for 135 yards and three touchdowns.
Wisconsin will have to face Michigan before the Heartland Trophy game, but its matchup against Iowa will be circled as a big moment in a season that has been marred by disappointment thus far.
