Wisconsin-Ohio State Game Time Announced for October 18

After the Wisconsin Badgers face the Iowa Hawkeyes this Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium, their Week 8 matchup against the Ohio State Buckeyes remains their most anticipated of the season thus far. Following Week 7, Wisconsin will, in all likelihood, be hosting the No. 1 team in the country on October 18.
The Badgers announced their game time for 2:30 p.m. CT against the Buckeyes. The game will be broadcast live on CBS. The last time the two programs faced off was Oct. 23, 2023, when Ohio State pulled off a 24-10 win in Madison.
It’s been nearly 15 years since Wisconsin last beat Ohio State in football. The Badgers have suffered 10-straight losses, and have an all-time series record of 18-63-5.
The Buckeyes are rolling through the 2025 season at 5-0. Last week, they dominated the Minnesota Golden Gophers, 42-3. This week, they’ll have a tougher matchup against No. 17 Illinois.
Wisconsin, on the other hand, has been suffering its worst season in years. The team is 2-3 and 0-2 in Big Ten conference play, after most recently losing to No. 20 Michigan on the road, 24-10.
This weekend will give the Badgers a chance to get back to .500, but no matter the record, Oct. 18’s matchup against Ohio State will be the biggest of the season leading up to that point.
