Voltin 2024 Recap

After breaking into the rotation and playing in 10 games in 2023 as a redshirt-sophomore, Voltin took a big step forward ahead of 2024. He locked down one of the starting guard spots out of fall camp and impressed with his great blocking ability. He’s also the biggest guy on the team and has pretty good athleticism as well. Voltin looked good in the Beavers’ first two games of the season against Idaho State and San Diego State, but that would be all we’d see of him. He suffered a season-ending knee injury against San Diego State and played just a total of 88 snaps across two games.

Voltin 2025 Outlook

Entering the 2025 campaign, the biggest key for Voltin will be getting back to 100% and returning to the form we saw early last season before the injury. While he didn’t see Voltin in spring practices coming back from the knee injury, he should be getting close as fall camp approaches. We haven’t heard of any setbacks, and we’re approaching a year since the injury, which is a rough timeline depending on the recovery. Fall camp will be the key barometer as we’ll see where Voltin is health-wise, but barring any setbacks, expect him to compete for and likely lock down one of the guard spots.
