Oregon State Football Lands 2026 TE Landon Cook

The Oregon State football team and interim head coach Robb Akey have landed their first pledge since the program moved on from Trent Bray, landing 2026 Concord (CA) tight end Landon Cook.
The 6-foot-5, 205-pounder visited Oregon State for the Lafayette matchup and has been close with Beavers’ tight end coach Will Heck. Cook spoke on his visit and how Corvallis was really somewhere he wanted to be.
“I love the town of Corvallis and all the hospitality everybody has,” Cook said. “Electric environment to be a part of with great coaching!
As a sophomore in 2023, Cook hauled in three receptions for 44 yards and two scores. As a junior, he had seven catches for 145 yards, and in his senior year, he caught 17 receptions for 279 yards and three scores.
While the future of Oregon State’s coaching staff is still very much in flux, Cook feels confident committing to the program as a whole.
“It’s definetly a little scary, but I’m confident in the choice I made being with this program.”
The La Salle High School alumnus chose Oregon State from offers from San Jose State, Nevada, Colorado State, Hawaii, Army, Air Force, Northern Arizona, and Montana.
Oregon State’s 2026 recruiting class now stands at nine, with Cook, Cynai Thomas, Malcolm Watkins, Jeremiah Brown, Kai Wheaton, Braylon Tolliver, Adel Dorr, & Cammeron Purnell.
