The first Oklahoma State Cowboy is off the board in the 2025 Major League Baseball Draft, as junior outfielder Nolan Schubart was selected 101st overall by the Cleveland Guardians in the third round.

A two-time All-American, Schubart developed a reputation as one of the premier power hitters in college baseball.

Schubart banged out 59 homeruns in his three-year career at OSU, which ranks fourth all-time in program history. That averaged out to a round-tripper every 10 at-bats over his career. His .705 career slugging percentage ranks ninth all-time, while his 199 RBI is tenth.

Schubart’s two All-America seasons made him the 13th Cowboy to earn the honor more than once.

In his final season this spring, Schubart started all 55 games and hit .300 with 19 home runs and 57 RBI.
