Mike Gundy and his overhauled staff are currently putting their finishing touches on their first recruiting class – for now, anyway. In the portal era, the numbers available to a recruiting class are always subject to change. In any event, the Cowboys are basically waiting on decisions from four targets. Three of those have dates set for announcing.
Friday, June 27, 1 P.M – Owasso defensive tackle Tajh Overton has set his announcement for this Friday. He said he will be posting it on Friday at 1.
Thursday, July 3 – This is the least certain of the three, but we’ve been told Braeden Presley is planning to announce his commitment on July 3
Saturday, July 12, 4 PM – Landen Anderson and Edmond Santa Fe teammate Jae’lin Battle are announcing at the same time. Anderson de-committed from Kansas shortly after his official visit to OSU. Shortly after that, Anderson and Battle visited Baylor officially, together. OSU has not offered Battle.
On the offensive side of the ball, Bauxite, AR offensive tackle Evan Goodwin may be the last remaining target. Goodwin has not announced a decision or timeline for one. He has finished up his official visit schedule.
