On Monday afternoon, the On3 and Rivals rankings officially merged just two weeks after the networks themselves came together under one umbrella.

With the merging of those rankings, every recruiting class in the country saw some changes, with some recruits making jumps and others taking a slight dip in the latest update. However for Rutgers Football is was mostly good news.

The Scarlet Knights currently have 21 prospects committed in the 2026 class and they now boast the 26th-best recruiting class in the country per the new Rivals Industry Rankings, which combines the Rivals, 247Sports, and the ESPN rankings evenly. The overall score of the class went from a 87.16 to an 87.77.

Along with that, XX of Rutgers Football’s 21 current verbal commits made a jump in their rankings, so let’s take a look at some of those updates.

Notable Risers in the Rankings

Some of the more notable future Scarlet Knights to see serious updates to their rankings include EDGE Wydeek Collier, wide receiver Elias Coke and cornerback Brandon Murray.

Collier made the biggest leap in the rankings, as he goes from No. 310 in the country to No. 162 in the country per the new Rivals Industry Rankings. The massive leap in his ranking comes from the staff here at Rivals (formerly On3), as he moved up to No. 92 overall in the country the updated Rivals rankings. This move comes not too long after Collier won the Under Armour New Jersey camp D-Line MVP award, beating out several Power-Four prospects.

Fellow Pennsylvania native Elias Coke also saw a big leap, going from No. 682 overall to No. 400 in the country per the industry rankings. This update also moves him from a high three-star to a four-star recruit per Rivals. Similar to Collier, the Harrisburg wide receiver has put together quite the offseason between camps and playing in the Overtime 7v7 circuit, where he’s consistently dominated the competition.

Last, but not least is the lone cornerback commit for Rutgers in this 2026 class, Brandon Murray out of Virginia who went from No. 981 to No. 543 overall with the latest update. The national guys over here as a part of the new network have always been pretty high on Murray’s potential, so thus losing the 5.5, three-star status he used to have helped his industry ranking quite a bit.

Those are just a few of the notable updates in the new look Rivals rankings, and be sure to check out the full rankings update of each 2026 Rutgers Football commit below.
