National Signing Day Central: Live Rutgers Football recruiting updates

National Signing Day is here and 2026 prospects across the country will be officially shutting down their recruitments by joining the program of their choice. The early period is now National Signing Day and Rutgers Football is trying to lock up a Top 40 recruiting class. The Scarlet Knights are currently ranked No. 41 in the country and No. 12 in the Big Ten, with 21 total commitments.

They have a chance to add to this class as well, to put them back in the Top 40 range. While there could always be surprises, we enter the day thinking that Rutgers with a few guys seriously in play for the Early Signing Period.

We’ll be all over that news as well as all of the other happenings of the day. In the space below, The Knight Report will be notifying you of when the players are announced as signees and providing links to the day’s scoop and news. Let’s get to it.

Despite some prospects not having their ceremonies today, all of the 22 Rutgers Football commits are expected to have their letters of intent signed, sealed, and delivered. Also you can expect the above list to be updated throughout the day.

Major Rutgers targets on NSD…

  • Three-Star DB Messiah Tilson – committed to Kentucky currently, but reopened his recruitment

Confirmed Early Enrollees so far

Stay tuned, as the above list will be updated throughout the day, TKR did confirm that the large majority of the class will enrolling early. The only commit who’s schools DOES NOT allow early enrolling is Tanner Raymond, so he will not be on the list.
