Madison Walker announces commitment to Florida
A big bat is headed to Gainesville. Former Missouri corner infielder Madison Walker has committed to Florida.
Walker can essentially be the Reagan Walsh replacement after the longtime Gator graduated after hitting 15 home runs and driving in 62 runs this past season. She could easily slot in at first base or be the designated player.

Walker, a rising junior, isn’t a player who hits for average but has game-changing power. She led the Tigers in both home runs (18) and RBI (48). Her 18 home runs was tied for fifth in the SEC this past season. That included blasts off of All-American pitchers Jordy Bahl, Teagan Kavan and Emiley Kennedy. She notched 16 hits, eight runs, six homers, 15 RBI and .466 slugging percentage over SEC play this season.
