Live Updates: Alabama 66, Chattanooga 10; Final
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 8 Alabama (9-1, 7-0 SEC) will play host to Chattanooga (7-3, 6-2 SoCON) this morning in its home finale. The Crimson Tide and Mocs will face off at Bryant-Denny Stadium, and the non-conference game is set to kick at 11 a.m. CT on SEC Network+.
Alabama and Chattanooga will meet for the 14th time in series history when the two teams face off today. The Crimson Tide holds a 13-0 all-time advantage, including an 8-0 mark in Tuscaloosa. The teams last met on Nov. 19, 2016, with the Tide earning a 31-3 home victory. Alabama head coach Nick Saban is 3-0 for his career against the Mocs, all coming at UA.

PREGAME
— Jermaine Burton is dressed out and warming up after missing last week’s game due to an illness.
— Alabama team captains vs. UTC: Will Reichard, Malachi Moore and Justin Eboigbe.
— Jaylen Key (quad) is in uniform but watching drills with his helmet off. Earl Little II is not dressed out and has his right arm in a sling.
— Both Deontae Lawson (ankle) and Ja’Corey Brooks (shoulder) are not in uniform for the final home game.
— UTC wins the toss and elects to defer to the second half. Alabama will receive the opening kickoff.
FIRST QUARTER
— First play: Jalen Milroe looks deep for Jermaine Burton, who hauls in a 56-yard pass down to UTC’s 11.
TOUCHDOWN: Alabama 7, UTC 0 (13:04)
— Jalen Milroe hits Jermaine Burton for a 5-yard score.
— Kristian Story starts the game at free safety in place of Jaylen Key.
— Chattanooga is starting Huntsville native Luke Schomberg, a redshirt freshman, vs. Alabama today.
— Jalen Milroe dials up another deep shot for Jermaine Burton, who hauls it in for a 44-yard gain to the UTC 2.
TOUCHDOWN: Alabama 14, UTC 0 (9:27)
— Senior RB Jase McClellan gives the Tide a two-score lead with a 2-yard rushing TD.
— Chris Braswell obliterates UTC QB Luke Schomburg, but he’s flagged for targeting. Play is under review.
— After review, Braswell is ejected for targeting. He’ll miss the remainder of his final game in Bryant-Denny.
— In for Braswell, Q Robinson forces a bad throw, and UTC will punt for the second time in as many drives.
— Kool-Aid McKinstry fields the punt inside the 10 and fumbles it, but UA is able to recover it. Milroe and company take over at their own 10.
— Jalen Milroe fakes the toss and looks Jalen Hale’s way. The true freshman records a 29-yard catch down the Mocs’ 44-yard line.

— Caleb Downs is back deep to return UTC’s third punt of the day after McKinstry’s earlier fumble.
SECOND QUARTER
— Jase McClellan breaks free for a 26-yard run down to the UTC 39.
— That was Jalen Milroe’s first incompletion of the game. He started out 10-10 for 169 yards and 1 TD.
— Jalen Milroe is sacked by UTC’s Jay Person on 3rd and 10, and the Tide will punt from the Mocs’ 47.
— Jam Miller rumbles ahead for a big, 45-yard gain to the Mocs’ 10.
TOUCHDOWN: Alabama 28, UTC 0 (10:42)
— Jalen Milroe hits Robbie Ouzts, who slips in for a 7-yard TD — his first of the season.
— Freshman DL James Smith getting some reps inside on Alabama’s fifth defensive drive of the morning.
— Kristian Story jumps in front of a UTC pass for the first interception of his college career. Alabama takes over at the Mocs’ 38-yard line.

— Luke Schomburg finds an open Javin Whatley, who takes it 54 yards down to the Alabama. Caleb Downs saved a UTC touchdown.
FIELD GOAL: Alabama 38, UTC 10 (10:46)
— Clayton Crile boots a 23-yarder through the uprights. The Tide defense holds the Mocs to three after an explosive play.
— Ty Simpson opens the 2H at QB. Jalen Milroe’s day appears to be done after a 1H of 13-16 passing, 197 yards and 3 touchdowns.
— After review, Kendrick Law is ruled short of the goal line, taking a 32-yard touchdown off the board. Alabama has it inside the UTC 1.

— Freshman Justice Haynes scores the first touchdown of his Crimson Tide career (1 yard).
