COMMITMENT: 4-star LB Shadarius Toodle flips commitment back to Auburn

Cottage Hill (Mobile, Ala.) four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle has had a change of heart.
Again.
Toodle, who flipped his commitment from Auburn to Georgia in June, has flipped his commitment back to the Tigers.
“Home is where the heart is and my love for Auburn never faded,” Toodle told Hayes Fawcett.
Toodle’s commitment back to Auburn comes after yet another unofficial visit to Auburn. He was inside Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday for Auburn’s 20-10 loss to Georgia. It was his third visit to the Plains this season.
“The team looks different than last year, way better,” Toodle said after the game. “A different team. I feel like Coach (D.J.) Durkin is doing his thing with the defense. I feel like he’s doing a great job.”
Durkin and Vontrell King-Williams both recruited Toodle back to AU.
Toodle is the 13th commitment and third linebacker in the Tigers’s 2026 class.
