THE BRAIN DRAIN: Auburn v Texas A&M
It’s once again time for our favorite time of the week: THE AUBURNSPORTS TEXAS A&M BRAIN DRAIN!
Today’s opponent is Texas A&M, which comes into the game with a 3-0 record that includes a win at Notre Dame two weeks ago.
We began live streaming games during the 2018 season and the five-hour shows, which feature call-ins from Bunker personalities, attracted a small-but-rabid following. We then grinded through the COVID-19 drama with weekly shows while in lockdown just in time to witness four consecutive losing seasons.

Womp womp.
But things may be changing. The Tigers started the 2025 season with three consecutive wins before a bizarre game at Oklahoma. Bizarre? The Southeastern Conference publicly censured the officiating crew for failing to properly adjudicate an illegal play that yielded an Oklahoma touchdown. That was the worst offense of the day, yes, but several other curious decisions left the crew’s competence very much in doubt.
Now comes the difficult task of playing Texas A&M in College Station. The Tigers actually won four games in a row at Kyle Field from 2013-19, but have lost the last two meetings there.
