For the fifth consecutive week, Clemson is facing an ACC Atlantic opponent in an important conference game.

This week it’s an undefeated Syracuse team that is coming to town.

The Orange have been one of the biggest surprises in college football as they are currently 6-0 (3-0) and ranked No. 14 nationally.

With that said, this will be by far the biggest test yet for Syracuse, whose only other road game was at UConn.

“This is a great matchup. This is two good football teams,” Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said. “Dino’s got them going, man. He’s got an offense that can score, a scheme that creates challenges. … We’ll have our hands full.”

Here’s what you need to know about Saturday’s matchup:

  • This is the first game ever at Memorial Stadium featuring two teams that are at least 6-0.
  • Clemson can improve to 8-0 to start a season for just the ninth time in program history with a win.
