FSU INJURY UPDATE: 3 starters out, 2 others game-time decisions vs. Pitt

Three Florida State starters are listed as OUT and two others are QUESTIONABLE for today’s game against Pitt, according to the updated ACC injury/availability report released by the ACC on Saturday morning.
Offensive tackle Micah Pettus and wide receivers Squirrel White and Jayvan Boggs are all out for the game with injuries, and tight end Randy Pittman and safety Ashlynd Barker are listed as game-time decisions.

THURSDAY REPORT
As per the ACC’s new policy requiring weekly injury reports, Florida State and Pitt on Thursday evening released the names of their players who are dealing with health concerns leading up to Saturday afternoon’s game.
For Florida State, the following seven players are listed as OUT: Running back Kam Davis, wide receiver Gavin Blackwell, defensive end Deamontae Diggs, cornerback Quindarrius Jones, tight end Chase Loftin, quarterback/tight end Gavin Markey and linebacker Ethan Pritchard.
Six Seminoles are listed as QUESTIONABLE: Wide receivers Squirrel White and Jayvan Boggs, tight end Randy Pittman, defensive back Ashlynd Barker, linebacker Caleb LaVallee and offensive tackle Micah Pettus.

And three Florida State players are listed as PROBABLE: Quarterback Tommy Castellanos, running back Roydell Williams and defensive lineman Kevin Wynn.
Some 16 Pitt players are listed as OUT on its availability report, and six of those players would typically be on the Panthers’ two-deep depth chart, according to Pitt’s On3 site.
Starting defensive end Blaine Spires is out for the second straight week, and backup defensive ends Zach Crothers and Joey Zelinsky are also out. Starting left tackle Jeff Persi went down last week against Boston College, and he also is out.
