FSU lands commitment from Fort Myers DL Judah Daniels
The Florida State football team landed a commitment Tuesday night from defensive lineman Judah Daniels of Fort Myers.
Florida State offered Daniels over the summer after a camp, and ever since then, the underrated defensive lineman has been all about the Seminoles.
“It’s just brotherhood,” Daniels told Warchant of his attraction to FSU. “It’s always meant everything to me. I love who loves me.”
The 6-foot-2, 280-pound lineman recently visited Florida State for its game against East Texas A&M. Afterward, he told Warchant that the experience “was great,” and he loved how the Seminoles dominated their FCS opponent.
After announcing his commitment Tuesday, Daniels gave a lot of credit for his decision to Florida State defensive line coach Terrance Knighton and defensive coordinator Tony White.

“I knew my first day coming [to FSU], Coach Knighton always showed love, and there’s been love since the beginning,” the Fort Myers product said. “So it’s always been love. And Coach Tony, it’s been love with him too, since the beginning. I’m just happy to be home.”
Daniels is the Seminoles’ fourth defensive line commitment for the 2026 class, joining Earnest Rankins, Tico Crittendon and Wihtlley Cadeau.
This commitment also replaces a spot left open in the class following the decommitment of three-star defensive lineman Tank Carrington just over a month ago.
