LSU WR Jalen Brown transferring to Florida State

Highly touted wide receiver Jalen Brown entered the transfer portal after just one season at LSU earlier this week, and now he has committed to Florida State.
He announced his decision on Saturday.
Brown did not get much playing time at LSU in 2023; he saw action in just three games and will enter Florida State as a redshirt freshman. But he was a top-80 player in the country as well as a top-15 wide receiver coming out of high school.
The former four-star recruit starred at Miami’s Gulliver Prep High, where he hauled in 111 passes during his prep career for 2,396 yards and 25 TDs. He was listed at 6-foot-1 and 178 pounds at LSU.
Florida State recruited Brown heavily out of high school and the Seminoles were among the top teams in his recruitment before he selected the Tigers.
