One day after Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis announced his plan to come back for the 2023 season, it looks like he is going to have plenty of company.

Junior linebacker Kalen DeLoach, junior wide receiver Mycah Pittman and junior defensive backs Renardo Green and Jarrian Jones — all of whom were veteran starters and key pieces during the Seminoles’ successful 2022 campaign — are also planning to return for their senior seasons.

Pittman announced his intentions with a simple post on social media, echoing an earlier post from receiver Winston Wright.

The former Oregon wideout, who transferred to Florida State last January, finished second on the team with 29 receptions for 317 yards and three touchdowns. Pittman also was the Seminoles’ starting punt returner.

DeLoach, who was one of the Seminoles’ starting inside linebackers for the second consecutive season, finished third on the team with 57 tackles. He also added 5.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and a team-best seven pass breakups.

DeLoach’s decision was announced on a social media post by The Battles End Collective, a new NIL organization he has partnered with. Jones’ and Green’s decisions were announced the same way.

Green, a former safety, won a starting cornerback spot during preseason camp and was arguably the Seminoles’ most consistent corner. He finished fourth on the team with 52 tackles and recorded four pass breakups.

Jones took over a starting cornerback role during the season and finished with 18 tackles and four pass breakups. The former Mississippi State transfer has played a prominent role in the Seminoles’ secondary each of the past three seasons.

After finishing with a 9-3 record in the regular season, Florida State is heading to the Cheez-It Bowl in Orlando to take on the Oklahoma Sooners. It will be the Seminoles’ first postseason bowl trip since 2019.

Warchant is keeping a running tally of each of the Seminoles who confirm they are leaving this offseason or coming back for 2023.
