Warchant TV: Footage from opening day of Florida State spring football practice
Defending ACC Champion Florida State took to the Al Dunlap Practice Facility on Tuesday afternoon for the first of 15 spring practice sessions.
Footage below features primarily the offense, including a look at quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei who transferred after stops in Corvallis, Oregon and Clemson, South Carolina as well as other new enrollees.
Florida State will hold two more sessions this week before holding its first scrimmage on Thursday, March 28.
The annual spring game, now marketed as the Spring Showcase, will be played on April 20 at 4 p.m. inside a reduced capacity Doak Campbell Stadium that remains under construction with an expected completion of summer 2025.

Florida State opens the 2024 season in the Aer Lingus College Football classic vs. Georgia Tech on Aug. 24 in Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
The Seminoles finished the season 13-1 with an ACC Championship and its first New Year’s Six bowl berth in 7 seasons.
Florida State has added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The Seminoles also have a verbal commitment from Ivy League standout Jacob Rizy of Harvard; he is anticipated to enroll in the summer.
