Warchant TV: Growth, preparedness highlight Florida State defense during media blitz Thursday
FORT LAUDERDALE — The No. 5 Florida State (13-0, 9-0) defense took to the podium at the Le Meridien hotel on Thursday morning as part of ongoing media days for the 90th Capital One Orange Bowl.
Defense coordinator Adam Fuller, DB Shyheim Brown, CB Fentrell Cypress, LB Kalen DeLoach, DL Braden Fiske and DB Azareye’h Thomas represented Florida State and detailed their readiness for the opportunity vs. No. 6 Georgia and excitement for the future of the program.
Friday morning will feature a joint press conference with head coaches Mike Norvell and Kirby Smart.

No. 5 Florida State (13-0, 9-0) will play in its first New Year’s Six Bowl since an appearance in the 2016 Orange Bowl.
The Seminoles are coming off a 16-6 win in the ACC Championship Game vs. Louisville. No. 6 UGA fell in the SEC Championship Game to No. 4 Alabama 27-24
Florida State will be without Johnny Wilson, Trey Benson, Jaheim Bell, Keon Coleman, Jarrian Jones, Renardo Green, Akeem Dent and Fabien Lovett. The Seminoles are also likely to be without several of their portal entrants.
