Warchant TV: Jordan Travis, Florida State draft hopefuls discuss Pro Day excitement
On the eve of Florida State Pro Day, another batch of NFL hopefuls opened about their draft preparation and growth under Mike Norvell and the Seminoles staff.
Jordan Travis has started throwing the football nearly 5 months after sustaining a major lower leg injury that ended his senior season. Travis said he feels he’ll be able to demonstrate more football preparedness to prospective NFL teams in “April at some point.”
Jarrian Jones, who spent four years in Tallahassee after enrolling at Mississippi State reflected on his personal football journey. “My time at Florida State was probably the best thing that ever happened to me in my life,” said Jones. “I feel like Coach (Mike) Norvell can do no wrong, he’s my guy.”

Renardo Green shared his lifelong bond to Florida State and his success covering projected 1st round pick Malik Nabers and teammate Brian Thomas.
Casey Roddick, who transferred in from Colorado, called his time at FSU truly special and is approaching Friday with a businessman like approach with great confidence saying, “(I’m) definitely putting on a show.”
Florida State opens the 2024 season in the Aer Lingus College Football classic vs. Georgia Tech on Aug. 24 in Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
The Seminoles finished the 2023 season 13-1 with an ACC Championship and its first New Year’s Six bowl berth in 7 seasons.
Florida State has added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The 2024 transfer window reopens on Saturday April 15 and closes on April 30.
