Nashville (Tenn.) Nashville Christian five-star quarterback Jared Curtis will put pen to paper sooner than originally thought, according to Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong.

The No. 1 quarterback prospect in the 2026 Rivals Rankings will sign on Dec 3 at 9 am. He was expected to sign his national letter of intent on Friday.

Nashville Christian School will play in the Tennessee High School state championship game on Thursday in Chattanooga. That was originally why the signing was scheduled for Friday.

Curtis is still committed to Georgia, though Vanderbilt has continued to work to flip the five-star signal caller. Curtis visited Vanderbilt last month.

The buzz around the hometown Commodores has continued to grow since that visit. Vanderbilt head coach Clark Lea signed a contract extension and sparked predictions from Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong.

Curtis has remained committed to Georgia. He went on record with DawgsHQ’s Rusty Mansell and affirmed his pledge to Georgia last month.

“Just normal, it’s about family, about life, what we’ve got going on,” Curtis said of his conversations with Georgia and offensive coordinator Mike Bobo. “Any football talk I have questions about, anything, He’s there for it, and he’s not worried about Vanderbilt, as he shouldn’t be, and I’m excited to get up there this weekend.”

Jared Curtis’ classmates ‘not worried’

The Bulldogs have continued to work to keep Curtis in the class. His fellow Georgia commits have felt confident in his intentions to sign with Georgia.

“I’m not worried about it,” tight end commit Lincoln Keyes told DawgsHQ last week.  “I mean, I don’t know why you would, I don’t know why you would flip from the best school in the country to go to a mid-tier SEC school instead of the top dogs. I don’t think I’m worried about it at all. I’ve talked to him a couple of times. It shouldn’t be a problem…I think we’re good. I think everyone’s not even worried about it. I think we’re going to be all good. So, we’re chilling.”
