Georgia QB target Ryan Montgomery sets commitment date

Findlay (Ohio) four-star quarterback Ryan Montgomery is set to make his decision. The No. 186 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings will announce his college commitment on April 17.
He has flirted with a timeline a few times but has made some shifts in the last few months. Montgomery is now set to make his decision.
He’ll have three schools on his board. Georgia is alongside Florida and South Carolina. The Bulldogs are have made a charge as of late. Georgia missed on four-star Matt Zollers two weeks ago. Five-star Julian Lewis is currently committed to USC but is very much a heavy target for Georgia.
Georgia’s communication has also picked up in the last few weeks. Florida also had a strong visit with Montgomery two weeks ago.
Montgomery is set to visit South Carolina on Saturday. The four-star signal-caller has also been to Georgia multiple times.

The Bulldogs got him on campus back in January. He felt that visit answered a lot of questions about Georgia.
“This (recent) visit was super important just to get all my questions answered and see where we are,” Montgomery said on Jan. 30. “There’s a lot of mutual interest. I’m in a pretty good spot with Georgia right now.”
As of now, On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine favors South Carolina. The Gamecocks have a 56.8 percent chance of landing the four-star signal caller. Georgia may also be in a better position than indicated in RPM.
