Georgia SEC Network takeover scheduled for July 6th
The calendar has turned to July, and that means that it’s time for SEC Network takeovers from each of the conference’s 14 schools. Starting on Saturday and continuing through Friday, July 15th, each day will be devoted to programming for a specific school. Georgia takes over the channel next Wednesday, July 6th.

Georgia is just one of 14 schools that’ll take over in the lead up to SEC Media Days. Paul Finebaum and the rest of the SEC Network personalities get a little bit of a break while the schools get their specific day to shine. I’d imagine that the TVs in the Butts-Mehre building certainly will be tuned into SEC Network on July 6th.
As for the other schools, things go alphabetically starting with Alabama and ending with Vanderbilt.
Alabama – July 2nd
Arkansas – July 3rd
Auburn – July 4th
Florida – July 5th
Georgia – July 6th
Kentucky – July 7th
LSU – July 8th
Mississippi – July 9th
Mississippi State – July 10th
Missouri – July 11th
South Carolina – July 12th
Tennessee – July 13th
Texas A&M – July 14th
Vanderbilt – July 15th
Wrapping up on a Friday, SEC Media Days take over the channel the following week on Monday with press conferences, interviews and various programming running the majority of the day through Thursday. Kirby Smart and company will participate in those festivities at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta on Wednesday, July 20th.
