A dead period is upon us in college football recruiting. The late signing period began on Wednesday, and now recruiting disappears into the shadows for a handful of weeks. It does not open back up for Kansas State and others until March 1.

And like we saw in December and January, head coach Chris Klieman and K-State will host a bevy of 2024 visitors for the Spring.

Some of it will be a one-on-one type of visit where they can bestow a bunch of attention on their top targets that make it to Manhattan, but Kansas State will host larger Junior Day events as well where the two sides familiarize themselves with one another.

However, those Junior Day events are becoming less important in the grand scheme of things because schools like K-State typically host their most critical prospects on alternative days. That way they see everything that needs introduced and have the lengthy conversations that need to occur.

When April arrives, a flurry of Kansas State targets will also trek to Bill Snyder Family Stadium, the Vanier Family Football Complex and the new Shamrock Indoor Practice Facility and take in Wildcat workouts and even a K-State spring football practice session.

Some are already locking their dates in for Manhattan, and a large amount of credit and praise for the planning and arrangement of those operations deserves to be devoted to support staffers like Taylor Braet, Chuck Lillie, Josh Buford, Maddi Gage and Taylor Ewald.

Just a few of the headliners making their way to Kansas State for visits in the Spring are receiver tight end Carson Bruhn, receiver Isaiah McMorris, running back Brevin Doll and K-State quarterback commit Blake Barnett. A full list can be clicked below.
