What we’re hearing on Kansas State (in terms of inside intel) is relegated to our message board at KSO but still spills out the best information on the Wildcats in the market, including more insight on what will be the final decision for Arthur Kaluma.

He has declared for the NBA Draft. He has entered the transfer portal. Does that mean he will be playing elsewhere next year or is a potential return to K-State viable for the scoring wing? What other options might be on the table?

One of the most exciting things to happen in the offseason is that Chris Klieman and K-State landed one of the best playmaking transfers in the country in Dylan Edwards. He almost made it to Manhattan out of high school but does make a stop after a brief detour.

What do we envision his role being now that he’s a Wildcat? He’ll share a backfield that also includes a returning 1,000-yard rusher in DJ Giddens. But that’s not all that Edwards can do for an offense, or a team in general. What other ways will he help Kansas State win games?

The last home run that K-State can hit on the recruiting trail is with Goodland four-star tight end Linkon Cure. They will receive one of his four official visits. Two others are Oregon and Texas A&M. The first was originally meant for Penn State but has been switched to Kansas.

That doesn’t come as a huge surprise since the Jayhawks just added his brother Leyton Cure as a transfer tight end. Does that push Kansas to the front of the list for the blue-chipper from the Sunflower State? Which schools are standing out for him?
