5-Star Forward Baba Oladotun Reclassifies to the 2026 Class

One of the top players in the 2027 class is moving up a grade. Five-star forward Baba Oladotun is reclassifying from the 2027 class to 2026, he tells KSR+.
The 6-foot-8, 165-pound small forward from James Hubert Blake (Silver Spring, MD) received an offer from Kentucky back in September. Oladotun’s father, Ibrahim, has been handling most of the communication with Kentucky.
“My dad has talked to most of them,” Oladotun told KSR+. “It’s a great program. Coach [Mark] Pope has a long coaching career. He’s been pretty good. It’s a great program.”
Oladotun has taken unofficial visits to both USC and UCLA. His father told KSR+ that he’s planning to visit Gonzaga and South Carolina.
Oladotun has a long offer list. His current offers include Kentucky, UCLA, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Mississippi State, Texas, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, USC, Arizona State, Arkansas, Ohio State, Kansas State, Georgetown, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, LSU, Florida State, Rutgers, Kansas, Alabama, Gonzaga, South Carolina, and Texas A&M, among others.
Baba Oladotun’s Game
2027 small forward Baba Oladotun of James Hubert Blake (MD) is ranked by the Rivals Industry Ranking as the No. 4 overall prospect in the nation. Rivals ranks Blake as the No. 3 small forward and the No. 6 overall prospect in the class.
“I feel like I’ve been playing really well,” Oladotun told KSR+ at Peach Jam. “My defense has been good, as well as my rebounding. I’ve stepped up on that part. Offensively, I got going pretty well, getting to the rim, finishing, and getting my teammates involved.”
Oladotun also broke down what he’s looking for in a program. He said it has to be a school that “supports my belief in Jesus Christ” as well as a school that supports academics.
“As a basketball player, it has to be a school that’s going to get me ready for the next level, which is the NBA,” Oladotun said.
