Davion Mintz will not play tonight against Albany
Kentucky Basketball will be short-handed yet again as the Wildcats return to Rupp Arena for Game 5 of 2021-22.
Lance Ware (ankle) and Jacob Toppin (shoulder) are still sidelined with their lingering injuries, as expected. However, Davion Mintz also joins the list of unavailable players against the Albany Great Danes. Mintz is out with an illness, the program announced an hour before tip-off Monday night.
Mintz came off the bench for 12 points, eight rebounds, and three assists Friday night against Ohio. He played the fourth-most minutes (27) in that win.
Kentucky will likely turn to Dontaie Allen to help with those reserve backcourt minutes tonight.
